Embassy of Kyrgyzstan officially opened in Italy

Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2021 . / Kabar / . The official opening ceremony of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Italy was held on Monday. The ceremony took place as part of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev’s official visit to Italy, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said. The event was attended b Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Marina Sereni, leaders of the Kyrgyz diaspora from different cities of Italy, Kyrgyz students and citizens of Italy. During the opening ceremony, Minister Kazakbaev expressed gratitude to the Italian side and the Italian Foreign Ministry for their support and assistance in the opening of the Kyrgyz Embassy. For her part, Marina Sereni stressed the importance of developing bilateral relations and bringing them to a new level. The Italian side intends to open its diplomatic mission in Bishkek in the near future and intensify trade, economic and cultural and humanitarian ties with Kyrgyzstan. In addition, next year Kyrgyzstan and Italy will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and a number of joint events are planned in this regard.
