Embassy investigates Azerbaijani citizen’s death in Pakistan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 23 / Trend / The Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan is investigating the death of an Azerbaijani citizen during military operations against the Mujahideen. During the operation carried out by the Pakistani military, five Mujahideen were killed, including 23-year-old Khaghani Imamverdiev, media reported. The report said Imamverdiev, who was accused of evading military service, was searched for by the Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies. According to the embassy, Azerbaijanis fighting in Pakistan enter the country illegally and operate under false names. The diplomatic mission is looking to the death. Do you have any feedback?
