E.Bat-Uul meets Italian delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, E.Bat-Uul received Lamberto Nazzareno Gestri, President of Province of Prato, Italy on June 17. Italian delegation said that “Development and construction of Ulaanbaatar city is intensified. We want to cooperate in the grand construction of UB city. Italian side is more interested in infrastructure development of the city. Then, Lamberto Nazzareno Gestri invited E.Bat-Uul to pay an official visit to Italy. E.Bat-Uul said ‘”We drawn up the general plan on UB city's development until 2030 which was approved by the State Great Khural. The 78 percent of UB city is consisting of Ger district areas. Nowadays, re-planning and housing activities in Ulaanbaatar have been started already. Thus, UB city will be open for the cooperation with Italian investors”. Though foreign tourists are very interested in visiting to Mongolia, we are facing yet some problems concerning the transportation and accommodation for them. We are able to cooperate in these sphere. Also, we wish to exempt world brand products from taxation and to have some streets and squares named after world famous cities,said Ulaanbaatar mayor. At the end of meeting he highlighted that Italian experiences are important for implementing all kind of the above activities.
