Earthquake rocks Teheran

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.10 / Trend T.Djafarov/ An earthquake measuring 4.7 has occurred the Firuzkuh mountainous zone near the Iranian capital of Tehran today, the IRNA news agency reported. The earthquake happened at 12:30 pm local time, the Geophysics Institute's Seismological Center said. Spokesman for the Iranian Rescue Organization Hussein Derakhshan said the Red Crescent Society's rescuers are on the scene. "There is no accurate information about the devastation," Derakhshan said.
