D.TERBISHDAGVA RECEIVES ROBERT WIHTOL OF ADB

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Deputy Prime Minister D.Terbishdagva received Robert Wihtol, the Director-General of East Asia Department (EARD) of Asian Development Bank /ADB/ on January 14. They spoke about policies and activities of the Government for Reforms. Mr Terbishdagva expressed an interest to cooperate with the ADB in purchase activity. Mr Wihtol replied that this collaboration is possible and added his side is ready to improve the Mongolian cadres through financing courses and hi tech for them. The Asian Development Bank has invested in Mongolia some one billion USD since 1991, which accounts for one fourth of the all loans and assistance to Mongolia. A strategic document on cooperating with the ADB for 2012-2016 has been approved, covering many spheres such as policy reform, a state-private sector partnership, an improvement of education, health, transport, energy and urban planning sectors' fruitfulness.
