DISASTERS IN FIGURES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first half of 2012, Mongolia faced 2,322 disasters and accidents. Due to them, 104 people died, 7.3 thous.livestock and animals were lost. By the types of the disasters there were 2,056 fires on possessions, 32 river and lake accidents, 26 cases of animal madness disease, 14 accidents related to artisanal mining and rock falls, and 10 cases of chemical substances usage.
