Development of Kyrgyz-German cooperation in various fields discussed in Germany

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Erlan Abdyldaev held a meeting with German government's Coordinator for Inter-Societal Cooperation with Russia, Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership Countries Johann Saathoff. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that the ambassador informed the German side about the current democratic processes in Kyrgyzstan, the stabilization of the internal political situation, the peaceful transfer of power, the formation and functioning of the new Government in accordance with the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic. The coordinator, in turn, said that from the very beginning of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states, Germany supports the development of democracy and the rule of law in the Kyrgyz Republic, and also closely follows the development of the latest internal political events in Kyrgyzstan. “At present, it is necessary to note the importance of internal political processes within the legal framework and further strengthening of democracy in Kyrgyzstan,” he said. In addition, during the meeting, issues of the development of Kyrgyz-German cooperation in various fields were discussed.
