DEMOCRATS AFFIRMS INTENTION TO WORK WITH COALITION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The parliamentary faction of the Democratic party (DP) formed on Monday evening a working group responsible for negotiating with other forces a coalition government. The group is headed by Kh.Battulga and consists of Ts.Bayarsaikhan, Ch.Saikhanbileg, Kh.Temuujin and S.Erdene MPs. The same day, the DP chairman N.Altankhuyag sent to the "Justice" coalition (Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and National Democratic Party) a letter saying,"Our official proposal, based on the Constitution and the decision of the 39th national consultative committee of the DP, is that we form together a coalition government". it is expected that this working group and the same structure from the "Justice" coalition are to meet on Tuesday to distribute portfolios. To get prepared for the negotiations, the coalition is running a meeting of its faction these hours. Having completed it, a vice chairman of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and head of the coalition's leading council D.Terbishdagva MP will call a news conference in the Government House at 2.30 pm.
