Delegation of Chinese companies to visit Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Kanaiym Baktygulova met with Secretary General of the Chinese Overseas Development Association under the state National Development and Reform Committee of the People’s Republic of China He Zhenwei. During the meeting, Baktygulova informed the interlocutor about stabilization of the current domestic political situation in Kyrgyzstan. She stressed that at present, with the return of the domestic political situation in the legal field, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, all state and administrative bodies are working in a regular mode. The ambassador especially noted that China remains one of the main trade and investment partners of Kyrgyzstan. She also spoke about the continuation of work by the Kyrgyz Government to create favorable conditions for attracting foreign investments into the country's economy. The parties discussed the organization of a delegation of Chinese companies, headed by the Chinese Overseas Development Association, to visit Kyrgyzstan to study the investment climate in the country, discuss joint investment projects in various fields, etc. Secretary General He Zhenwei expressed readiness to form a delegation of Chinese companies to organize a visit to Kyrgyzstan after the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic stabilizes. The sides agreed to maintain working contacts to develop cooperation.
