DANISH SPEAKER'S VISIT ENDS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Top legislator of the Denmark's Folketing (parliament) Mr Mogens Lykketoft finished his official visit to Mongolia on Wednesday. Paid the visit on March 2-6, the parliamentary delegation of Denmark was seen off by R.Burmaa MP, a deputy head of the Mongolia-Denmark inter-parliamentary group; B.Boldbaatar, the secretary-general of the Parliamentary-Office; Ts.Narantungalag, a head of the Parliamentary Office's section of external relations and cooperation; and others. During the visit, the Danish Speaker held meetings with his counterpart of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold; the Foreign Minister L.Bold; and the Mining Minister D.Gankhuyag, sharing views on expanding the bilateral cooperation in the mining, renewable energy, heating system and agricultural spheres. The two Speakers have called a press conference in the State House as well. In accordance with the visiting programme, the delegation visited the city's Nalaikh district to get au fait with "Social Partnership Network" NGO which was established with a financing from the Danida project at Denmark's government and the Mongolia-Denmark Society. Moreover, Mr Lykketoft got acquainted with activities of the Oyutolgoi project in Khanbogd soum, Omnogobi aimag. B.Khuder
