Construction of Almaty - Cholpon-Ata highway discussed in Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . The construction of the Almaty - Cholpon-Ata highway was discussed in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Kazakhstan said. Thus, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeyev held a meeting with Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov. The meeting discussed in detail current issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation, in particular the construction of the Almaty - Cholpon-Ata highway, the resumption of direct flights between capitals of the two states and the railroad connection from Russia to Kyrgyzstan through Kazakhstan. Special attention was paid to issues of transit passage of goods from China to Kyrgyzstan through the territory of Kazakhstan. Minister Atamkulov congratulated Ambassador Dyushekeyev on his appointment and wished success in this responsible position.
