Colombia expresses solidarity with Azerbaijan over ‘Black January’

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan.17 / Trend S. Agayeva / Colombia expressed its solidarity with Azerbaijan in connection with the next anniversary of the 20 January tragedy. Colombia's Foreign Ministry's note refers to the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by the Soviet Union on Jan.20, 1990, which is known as 'Black January', Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said. "Colombia reiterates its solidarity with the Azerbaijani people, who made an effort for self-determination and sovereignty in 1991," Colombia's Foreign Ministry said in its note in connection with the next anniversary of the 20 January tragedy, which is by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico.
