Chairwoman of Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan meets with UNDP representatives

Bishkek, July 27, 2018. / Kabar /. Chairwoman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic Ainash Tokbaeva met on Thursday with representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Erkinbek Kasybekov, Assistant to UNDP Resident Representative for Program Issues; David Maine, Chief Technical Adviser on the Rule of Law, Zhyldyz Moldokunova, coordinator for e-government program. The press service of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the meeting Tokbaeva said that UNDP is a regular partner of the Kyrgyz Republic and the assistance rendered by the organization in various directions is very fruitful. She also informed the guests about the ongoing judicial reform in the country and told about the activities implementing with other partners of the judicial system. She emphasized that the priority is automation of courts. From their part, UNDP representatives shared their plans and said that they pay special attention to people's access to justice. The sides agreed on further cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the Chairwoman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic thanked for the constructive conversation and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
