CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In accordance with the cabinet decision on Saturday, some 788 million 250 thousand togrog will be allotted from the governmental reserved fund as an aid for the aimags with a worsening wintering. Some 444 million will be exploited for transporting additional hay and fodder, another part of 344 million will go for buying 16 UAZ-31512 Russian-made cars for emergency and police sections and hospitals of some aimags. - The Minister of Economics was ordered to allot MNT 18 billion from the Development Bank of Mongolia (DBM) and to grant them as loans to the "Baganuur" company and state-owned thermal power stations for necessary equipment and facilities. - The cabinet backed a draft intergovernmental agreement between Mongolia and Poland on cooperating in the defense sector, and then authorized Z.Boldbaatar, an acting State Secretary of the Defense Ministry, to sign this agreement. - The Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland A.Ganbaatar was given a right to ink a Mongolia-Poland intergovernmental agreement on the economic cooperation. - The cabinet backed in principle a draft amendment to the law on administrative and territorial units of Mongolia and their management. This amendment has been initiated by R.Burmaa and other MPs. Related proposals will be conveyed to the initiators. - First deputy head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Ch.Chuluunbaatar and a head of the State Property Committee (SPC) Ts.Nanzaddorj were freed from their posts.
