Blood of Khojaly victims not to remain unavenged - Nagorno-Karabakh's Azerbaijani community

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.26 / Trend M.Aliyev/ The blood of innocent people, our mothers and sisters will not remain unavenged. All those who committed this terrible crime must be brought before the court, Chairman of the Public Association "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh" Bayram Safarov said on Sunday. "The people of Nagorno Karabakh must return to their native land, the land of their fathers. The whole world should support it, we should put an end to double standards," Safarov said. The memory of victims of Khojaly genocide is honored these days in many countries, several countries have already adopted a resolution on the Khojaly genocide, Safarov said. Armenian military forces committed genocide in Khojaly on Feb. 26, 1992. Some 613 people were killed, including 63 children, 106 women and 70 old men. A total of 1,000 civilians were disabled during the genocide. Eight families were annihilated, 130 children lost one parent, and 25 lost both.
