Azerbaijan, Baku, June 29 /Trend E.Tariverdiyeva/ Baku may become a reliable partner of the Eurasian Customs Union, deputy dean of the History Department of Moscow State University and member of the Trend Expert Council, political analyst, Alexei Vlasov said. "Multi-vector is a successful concept of Azerbaijan. Baku may become a reliable partner of the Eurasian customs union. This format allows you to define the best deal of interaction," Vlasov said in Baku at a press conference on Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation on the modern stage and the current situation in the region. He noted that disillusionment in European integration is growing in Europe. "But nobody makes Baku to choose. On the contrary, Baku may become a bridge between Europe and Asia," the analyst said. According to another Russian expert, the director of the Political Analysis Centre Sergei Mikheyev Eurasian union of three countries is a reality and Europe and the post-Soviet countries will have to make do with it. "At the same time no one expects the entry of Baku in this format. However, it is possible to suggest prospects for cooperation and convergence of interests," Mikheyev said. Eurasian Union (EAC) is project of a confederal union of states with a common political, economic, military, customs, humanitarian and cultural space, intended to establish on the basis of a union between Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and the relevant sectorial integration structures of the CIS.
