Azerbaijani President offers condolences to U.S. counterpart

Azerbaijan, Baku, November 2 /Trend/ Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has today sent a letter of condolences to U.S. counterpart Barack Obama over Hurricane Sandy which caused heavy loss of life in his country. The Head of State said he was deeply saddened to hear the news of numerous casualties and extensive damage as a result of the hurricane. On behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev offered condolences to President Barack Obama, the families and relatives of the dead and all the people of America.
