Azerbaijan conducts exercises in Caspian Sea

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 18 /Trend K.Zarbaliyeva/ The Azerbaijani State Border Service (SBS) has held exercises in the Caspian Sea. The tactical exercises on "Protecting the oil and gas production areas on islands in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea," were carried out, the ministry told Trend on Wednesday. The exercise was attended by the Coast Guard, speed boats, helicopters and the Emergency Ministry. The exercises were conducted in three phases and nine tactical episodes were successfully implemented. The Coast Guard and the squadron forces deactivated a subversive terrorist group to protect the oil and gas platforms and pipelines. Overall, 1,200 troops, 21 vessels, 20 speedboats and eight helicopters participated. High discipline and combat readiness were shown during the exercises. Do you have any feedback?
