Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan invites Korean side to accept citizens of Kyrgyzstan for seasonal work using EPS system

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2021 / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova took part in the 7th international forum on the Yellow Sea in the city of Yesan (South Korea). The press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Korea said that the forum was organized by Chungcheongnam-do province and was attended by the governor of the province, deputies of the National Assembly of South Korea, government officials, as well as ambassadors of four countries (China, Japan, Vietnam and the Kyrgyz Republic). Ambassador Kemelova made a welcoming speech at the forum. She marked the 30th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence and the perspectives for cooperation between the countries of Central and Southeast Asia. At a special session dedicated to interregional cooperation to fight with the coronavirus pandemic, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan told about the efforts of the Kyrgyz Government to fight the pandemic in the country and encouraged cooperation on construction and modernization of the hospitals, capacity building, training of medical personnel and the exchange of experience on the development of infrastructure in the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The ambassador of Kyrgyzstan also held bilateral meetings with the Governor of province Yang Seung-jo and the representatives of the Chungcheongnam-do administration. During the meetings the perspectives for trade, economic and investment cooperation on the development of tourism infrastructure, agriculture, green energy, the construction of trade and logistics centers, and the promotion of projects in healthcare and culture, Smart City were discussed. Ambassador Kemelova also noted the great labor potential of Kyrgyz workers and offered to hire citizens under the EPS system and also for seasonal works. Ambassador Kemelova recalled a proposal,which was made before, to sign an agreement on twinning relations between Issyk-Kul region and Chungcheongnam-do province. In turn, the Korean side expressed interest in promoting cooperation with the Bishkek city and with the state body for youth policy and sports. During the trip, the Embassy also met with the citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Ten Valentina, who opened a small cafe "Bishkek" in this province.
