ABOUT PREPARATION FOR CD MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Foreign Ministry's working group that ensures a preparation for the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies (CoD) has added teams that will communicate with representatives and process documents.
These teams are headed by Ambassadors-at-Large of Mongolia, their compositions have expanded by order of the Foreign Minister. The Ambassador-at-Large D.Ganbold has been appointed the regulator for the working group.
The Ministerial Conference, to run April 29, has invited Foreign Ministers of almost 150 countries and representatives of 20 international organizations. The State Head Ts.Elbegdorj has invited state and governmental leaders of ten countries as honorary guests. Chairperson of the National League for Democracy (NLD) in Myanmar and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ms Aung San Suu Kyi has officially expressed her willingness to participate in the Conference.
Prior to the Conference, the CoD forums of parliament, women, youths and civil society will take place. The CoD Ministerial Conference will show works of the CoD within a chairmanship of Mongolia and will propagandize Mongolian achievements in development of the democracy.
