Abdullah bin Zayed meets New Zealand Minister of Trade

WELLINGTON, 2nd May, 2018 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has met the New Zealand Minister of Trade David Parker, as part of an official visit to the country. During the meeting, the two sides discussed means to advance trade and investment ties between the two countries. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed noted the UAE's keenness to further advance bilateral trade and investment between the UAE and New Zealand for the benefit of peoples of the two friendly states. The New Zealand Minister of Trade welcomed Sheikh Abdullah's visit, highlighting the importance of enhancing partnerships and cooperation with the UAE. He also praised the UAE's progress and development across a number of sectors, enabling the young nation to occupy a leading position on regional and international levels. Saleh Ahmed Alzreem Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to New Zealand, also attended the meeting.
