70% of attendees of inauguration ceremony will be ordinary citizens: President’s Office

Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2021. /Kabar/. Head of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Suyunbek Kasmambetov told journalists about the preparations for the inauguration of the newly elected head of state.
According to him, an organizing committee for the preparation and conduct of the inauguration ceremony of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov has been created. The ceremony will take place on Jan. 28 at the state Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov.
"Representatives of the public, academics, members of the government, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Chamber, the diplomatic mission, politicians, folk writers, folk artists, all former speakers of parliament, all former prime ministers, former presidents, presidential candidates in the early elections and representatives of international organizations in which Kyrgyzstan has membership are invited to the inauguration.
We have taken into account the wish of Sadyr Zhaparov's headquarters and 70% of those invited will be ordinary citizens. Presidents of other states have not been invited because it is a domestic event and the epidemiological situation was taken into account. But an invitation letter has been sent to Nursultan Nazarbayev, the first President of Kazakhstan," Kasmambetov said.
He added the emphasis is made on ordinary citizens and voters.
