30 former army officers, former Baath Party members arrested in Salahuddine

Tikrit (NINA) – Police force in Salahuddine Province arrested 30 former army officers and Baathists in Tikrit, Baiji, and Al Alam city during wide security operation that started in the morning until this afternoon. Police source told NINA correspondent that the operation took place upon intelligence that they received. The source did not refer to the charges against the detainees or whether they are wanted to courts. Tens of the former army officers and Baath members were arrested in Diyala and Wasit Provinces. /End/
