Mideast countries should not allow terrorists settle, Turkish main opposition party leader Kilicdaroglu says

ANKARA (A.A) Feb 9 - The chairman of Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) said on Wednesday that settlement of terrorist organizations in the territories of Middle Eastern countries should not be permitted.
CHP chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu got together with journalists from Middle Eastern and Arab countries over breakfast at his party's headquarters in capital Ankara.
Representatives of several newspapers, TV channels and news agencies from Iran, Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates attended the gathering.
Replying to questions of the guest reporters during the meeting, Kilicdaroglu said his party desired to establish good relations with the states in the Middle East.
Kilicdaroglu noted that respect to secularism and prevention of the settlement of terrorist organizations in the territories of Middle Eastern countries were the requirements to achieve such goal.
"There should be a strong opposition in Iraq, however, it should be based on the idea of integration, not separation," Kilicdaroglu said.
"We will not act as the elder brother of anybody. Because, we are all equal countries. We listen to each other even if we do not agree on some matters. However, acting as an elder brother would not suit, besides, it would be a disrespectful act against the Arab and Islamic world," the chairman added.
