UNICEF purchases 10thsd rapid tests to help Kyrgyzstan fight COVID-19 pandemic

Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2020 / Kabar /. 10 thousand rapid diagnostic tests for antigens worth USD 59.7 thousand were handed over to the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan with the support of UNICEF and the World Bank. The tests will be used by the Ministry of Health to support ongoing efforts to respond to the pandemic, according to the Ministry’s press service. The handover ceremony was attended by Abdykadyr Zhoroev, Director of the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Ministry of Health and Yulia Oleinik, Deputy Representative of UNICEF in Kyrgyzstan.
