Two checkpoints at Kyrgyz-Chinese border to be temporarily closed

Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2020 /Kabar/. Torugart - Avtodorozhnyi and Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhnyi checkpoints at the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed for the movement of goods. According to the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Border Service, the work of the crossing points will be stopped on Sept. 1-4 inclusive at the initiative of the Chinese side due to the National Day of the People’s Republic of China and Mid-Autumn Festival. It is noted that the checkpoints will resume operation on Octo. 5, 2020 according to a special algorithm that provides only for the movement of goods from the People's Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic.
