Turkey sends humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan to fight coronavirus infection

Bishkek, July 15, 2020. /Kabar/. Following a telephone conversation between President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on July 6, 2020, the Turkish side decided to send humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said Tuesday. The next day, July 7, the Government of the Republic of Turkey, represented by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey, urgently submitted for signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the provision of humanitarian aid in the field of healthcare, according to which the Turkish side will send humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan in the form of the following medical equipment and facilities: - 20 artificial lung ventilator (ALV), - 50 oxygen concentrators, - 20 thousand sets of PCR test, - 20 thousand sets of reagents for detecting the virus, - 50 thousand protective masks N95, - 100 thousand surgical masks, - 35 thousand protective suits, - 2 thousand protective masks - visors - 10 thousand packages of hydroxychloroquine tablets. Sending humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan will be carried out on July 15, 2020, through the cargo of "Turkish Airlines".
