Turkey interested in building new modern airport in Kyrgyzstan's Osh

Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2021. /Kabar/. The Republic of Turkey is interested in building a new modern international airport on the territory of Osh Oblast. According to the Osh Oblast state administration, Governor Zharasul Abduraimov familiarized with the place where the new international airport is planned to be built. Ten hectares of land have been allocated for this purpose in the village of Mady in Kara-Suu region of Osh Oblast. Previously, a private company from China was interested in building a new airport in the territory of the oblast, but due to the strategic importance of the airport, negotiations were not successful. Currently, Turkey has interest in the construction of the new airport in Osh, and work is underway in this direction.
