Traffic difficulties occur on Azerbaijan's certain main roads

Traffic on the most main roads in Azerbaijan is possible, head of the Central Department of the State Road Police Kamran Aliyev told Trend on Wednesday.
"There are difficulties on road traffic on the Agsu pass, as there is a strong snowstorm now.
However, these roads are intensively cleared," he said.
According to Aliyev, the snow height on the Ganja-Gazakh highway reaches 10 to 15 centimeters and there are also problems in the movement of vehicles.
"In accordance with the recommendations of the traffic police, the intensity in road traffic is not observed," he added.
Heavy snowstorm began in Baku early Wednesday morning.
As the Bureau of Hydro-meteorological Forecasts of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry told Trend earlier, frost will rise within the day.
On Feb. 8, the air temperature fell 3 - 5 degrees below zero in the noon hours, and is accompanied by heavy snowstorm.
On the night of Feb. 8 the lowest air temperature in Baku is expected at 6-10 degrees below zero.
It will snow in the Azerbaijani regions until early morning hours on Feb.9.
