Topographic working groups of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to meet on Feb. 10 - 15

Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2022. / Kabar /. A regular meeting of the topographic working groups of the government delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held on Feb. 10 - 15 this year in accordance with the agreement reached by the Parties. The topographic working group of Kyrgyzstan will be headed by Nazirbek Borubaev, Special Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers for Border Issues of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic. It should be noted that as a result of the work of the topographic working groups of government delegations from May 1, 2021 to the present, more than 81 km of the state border lines have been described. Documents of 1924-1927 and 1989 will also be used in the description of the line of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
