Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2020. /Kabar/. The situation in Kyrgyzstan is stable and controlled by law enforcement agencies, the press service of the Interior Ministry reported Thursday. Police officers, together with other law enforcement agencies, continue to work systematically to identify, suppress and solve crimes in the current situation and the state of emergency regime introduced in Bishkek. It is noted that over the past 24 hours, 330 crimes and misdemeanors were registered. Out of total number, 187 are crimes and 143 - misdemeanors. Internal affairs officers, together with representatives of local government and people’s guards carry out preventive measures to ensure public order and safety. About 10 thousand volunteer vigilantes are involved in the republic. In general, the operational environment in the country remains under control of law enforcement agencies. "We urge citizens to observe the requirements of the state of emergency and the curfew imposed in the capital. We ask you to treat the established rules and restrictions with understanding and full responsibility, as well as to observe the law and comply with the legal requirements of law enforcement officials," the report says.
