Saudi Arabia resumes receiving pilgrims. Kyrgyzstanis to be able to perform umrah from Nov. 1

The Saudi Arabian authorities announced that from Oct. 4, will begin a gradual lifting of restrictions on umrah and visiting the al-Haram mosque, introduced to prevent the spread of COVID-19. According to the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, permission to umrah and enter the Al-Haram / Raudu Mosque of the Prophet's Mosque can be obtained in a special mobile application. To perform umrah and perform namaz in the al-Haram mosque, one must register through a mobile application. After registration, the person who wishes will be notified of the issuance of a permit (approval), after which one will need to arrive at a special meeting point (bus station) where, after checking the temperature and observing all sanitary requirements, the pilgrim and the person who wants to pray will be taken by bus to the places of entry to the al -Haram mosque. The Saudi Arabian authorities plan to remove restrictions in 4 stages: Stage 1 (from Oct. 4) At the first stage, residents of Saudi Arabia will be allowed to commit umra, but no more than 6,000 people will be able to commit umra per day. Stage 2 (from Oct. 18) In the second phase, 40,000 people will be allowed to perform namaz in the Al-Haram mosque and to pray in the Raud of the al-Nabawi mosque (the prophet's mosque). No more than 15,000 people will be able to perfom umrah. Stage 3 (from Nov. 1) At the third stage, both local and foreign pilgrims will be allowed to perform umrah, but 20 thousand people will be able to perform a small hajj per day, and 60 thousand people will be able to perform namaz in the Al-Haram mosque. - The list of countries whose citizens will be allowed to umrah in the third stage will be announced later, depending on the epidemiological situation in these countries! Stage 4 At the fourth stage, after defeating the pandemic, the restrictions will be completely lifted.
