Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund approves about 3 thsd projects worth USD 434 mln

Bishkek, May 14, 2021. / Kabar / . As of May 1, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund has approved 2,949 projects in all regions of the country worth $434 million. More than half of the projects in the portfolio of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund are from the manufacturing and agro-industrial sectors, the Fund reported. By sectors, the approved projects are as follows: agribusiness - 23%, manufacturing - 30%, transport and logistics - 12%, tourism - 12%, communications and IT - 4%, infrastructure development - 12%, financial activities - 1%, and other sectors - 6%. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund was established in 2014 to promote economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, to modernize and develop the Kyrgyz economy, and effectively use the opportunities sparked by the participation of the sides in the Eurasian economic integration.
