Reps of Kuwaiti business to arrive in Bishkek to familiarize with investment opportunities of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbayev received Ambassador of Kuwait to Kyrgyzstan with residence in Nur-Sultan city Tarek Al-Faraj, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of Kyrgyz-Kuwaiti cooperation and prospects for its development in all areas of mutual interest. In particular, the deputy minister and the ambassador discussed the organization of visits at the high and highest levels, including the visit of Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev to Kuwait, as well as holding inter-ministerial political consultations. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of attracting investments, implementation of major investment projects, and strengthening of mutual relations and ties between the business circles of the two countries. In order to practically implement the agreements reached, the sides agreed to organize a visit of representatives of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bishkek to familiarize with investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic. Along with this, Aibek Artykbayev and Tarek Al-Faraj highlighted the increase in the flow of tourists from Kuwait and Arab countries since the opening of a direct flight between Kuwait and Bishkek, which began to be operated by the Kuwaiti airline Jazeera Airways in June of this year. The deputy foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan also thanked the ambassador for assistance in signing a draft agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development regarding the reconstruction of the Issyk-Kul Ring Road.
