Program of cooperation signed between Osh and St. Petersburg cities

Osh, Oct. 13, 2021 / Kabar /. On October 11, a delegation of the Osh city administration, led by First Vice Mayor Mars Isayev, within the framework of a visit to St. Petersburg, signed a Cooperation Program between the Osh City Administration and the Government of St. Petersburg for 2021-2024. During the visit, the delegation of Osh met with the Vice Governor of St. Petersburg - the head of the administration of the governor of St. Petersburg Valery Pikalev, and also got acquainted with the activities of the specialized committees for informatization, transport, energy, water supply and urban lighting. Within the framework of this program, a number of comprehensive measures are planned to develop trade, economic, scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, exchange of experience in the fields of tourism, health care, housing and communal services and city improvement. In addition, within the framework of the events, rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov met with the administration of the leading universities of St. Petersburg and a number of agreements on cooperation and development of bilateral relations were signed. The delegation includes heads of municipal enterprises, utilities and the rector of the main university of the city - Osh State University. Osh and St. Petersburg cities have been twin cities since 2004.
