President Zhaparov presents gifts to ethnic Kyrgyz in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, March 26, 2021. / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov handed over gifts to ethnic Kyrgyz in Uzbekistan, Prime Minister of the republic Ulukbek Maripov said at a meeting with the Kyrgyz diaspora in Tashkent. The head of the Kyrgyz government said that during a state visit to the neighboring country, the Kyrgyz president was not able to meet with ethnic Kyrgyz due to lack of time. However, as part of his working visit to Uzbekistan, Maripov gave gifts in the form of komuz, ooz komuz (national musical instruments of the Kyrgyz people), books, national clothing, teaching CDs for playing national instruments, and music textbooks for learning. Head of the ethnic Kyrgyz diaspora in Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Dzhabbanov told Kabar News Agency that the gifts would be given to the Morzhan song and dance ensemble. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov is in Uzbekistan for his two-day working visit. On the first day of the visit, the head of the Kyrgyz government visited Technopark and IT-Park in Tashkent, as well as confectionery, textile factories and jewelry factory located in the Uzbek capital city. A narrow format talks between Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov and Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov have begun on Friday.
