Preparations for 4th World Nomad Games discussed in Turkey’s Istanbul

Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. A preparations for the IV World Nomad Games were discussed in Istanbul, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism reported. Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Culture Minister Kairat Imanaliyev, Deputy Director of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan Kanat Arpachiyev, representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Hungary took part in the meeting to discuss the project and positions of cultural and sports events. Kairat Imanaliyev told about the 1st, 2nd and 3rd World Nomad Games held earlier in Kyrgyzstan and made a proposal to create a wider platform for cultural events so that each country could show its cultural and mass performances on the proper level. In addition, he suggested organizing a Nomad World ethno-festival and Ethno-Bazaar for craftsmen. The deputy minister noted Kyrgyz artists together with creative team are ready to assist Turkish cultural workers and once again introduce the world to Kyrgyz culture in Turkey. It was noted that the Turkish organizing committee will use the experience of Kyrgyzstan and will accept the proposals, taking into account that Kyrgyzstan has three times hosted the Nomad Games. The 4th World Nomad Games will be held in September 2021 in Iznik, Turkey. The choice of Iznik has a special symbolism. According to Kairat Imanaliyev, the town has a monument of Kyrgyz warrior, and the lake is similar to Issyk-Kul. After that, Deputy Culture Minister of Kyrgyzstan Imanaliyev met with Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev. The sides exchanged views on holding the 4th World Nomad Games at the highest level.
