Possibility of supplying NGV buses from Russia discussed in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 26, 2021. / Kabar /. Acting Mayor of Bishkek city, Baktybek Kudaibergenov, met with representatives of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic and the GAZ Group automotive holding, the Mayor's Office of the capital city said. A discussion was held on the possibility of supplying gas-engine buses for the needs of the city of Bishkek, as well as attracting financing from the financial structures of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, acting Mayor Kudaibergenov thanked the participants for the visit and expressed the readiness of the Bishkek Mayor's Office to consider possible ways of cooperation and support the proposal of the Trade Representation. The Russian GAZ Group automotive holding specializes in the production of vehicles of various modifications for the market of Russia and the CIS countries. As part of the fight against smog, 350 gas-fueled buses will be delivered to Bishkek, a memorandum of cooperation was signed the day before between the Bishkek Mayor's Office represented by the City Transport Department and the Eco Passenger Transportation Company.
