Number of recoveries from COVID-19 approaching 37,000 in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2020. /Kabar/. Another 310 coronavirus patients have recovered in Kyrgyzstan in the past day. At a daily news briefing at the Government House, Deputy Minister of Health of the republic Mademin Karatyev reported that total number of recoveries from novel coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan has reached 36 thousand 925. 119 new COVID-19 infections were identified on Tuesday, raising the total cases registered in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic to 43,245. Currently, 1,021 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals and 4,563 patients are receiving treatment at home. The death toll stands at 1057, no new deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours. Karatayev also said that the most high cases of the virus were registered on July 6 - 26 and starting from July 27 there is a decline.
