Number of Kyrgyzstanis recovered from novel coronavirus surpasses 41, 000

Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 80 more coronavirus patients have recovered over the past 24 hours, Health Minister of the country Sabirzhan Abdikerimov told during a news briefing Tuesday. Thus, total number of Kyrgyzstanis cured of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, has reached 41 thousand 103. As of Sept. 15, Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reached 44,999 after 71 new cases of infection were detected in the previous day. There are 2902 active cases in the country, 502 of them are still in hospitals throughout the country and 1,890 patients are receiving treatment at home. The death toll in the country stands at 1,063, no death was reported from the virus in the previous 24 hours. Minister Adbikarimov said that in total 337,073 PCR tests were carried out in the republic since pandemic.
