No new cases of coronavirus infection registered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 19, 2020 /Kabar /. There are no new cases of coronavirus infection in the last day in Kyrgyzstan. The COVID 19 infection was not confirmed of other passengers, who arrived from Umrah from Saudi Arabia, together with the infected Kyrgyz citizens, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Kosmosbek Cholponbaev told a news briefing. He said that according to updated data, there were 142 people on board the plane that arrived from Sharjah on March 12, not 135. “Today, we have found and placed 142 passengers on the observation, two of them, it turns out, have left for Uzbekistan. We work on them through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All passengers are placed on observation. Out of 142 passengers, only three citizens have positive test result,” he said. The mnister noted that in Jalal-Abad Oblast, three have a positive result, three more are under suspicion. Three facts of infection with coronavirus have been identified in Kyrgyzstan on March 18. All patients are residents of Suzak region of Jalal-Abad Oblast. They infected in Saudi Arabia.
