New Year tree in Bishkek is in top 5 highest in CIS

Bishkek, Jan. 4, 2021 / Kabar /. The TurStat portal presented a rating of the capitals of the CIS countries with the highest New Year trees this year.
The highest New Year trees in the CIS countries are installed in the capitals of Belarus, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The top five CIS capitals in terms of the height of the New Year tree in 2021 includes Ashgabat (41 meters), Tashkent (36 meters), Minsk (30 meters), Nur-Sultan (25 meters) and Bishkek (25 meters).
The main New Year tree in Russia is a natural spruce of 25 meters high, installed on the Cathedral Square of the Kremlin in Moscow.
Artificial New Year trees were installed in most Russian cities this year, the tallest of which is in Krasnoyarsk, 55 meters high.
The rating is based on the results of a study of New Year trees in Russian cities.
