New Airbus 220 aircraft presented at Manas International Airport

Bishkek, April 26, 2021 . / Kabar / . A new Airbus 220 aircraft was officially presented on Monday at Manas International Airport by Air Manas LLC, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Transport reported. Air Manas is promoting the project of operating a new type of aircraft Airbus220-300 in countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Russia in order to perform domestic and international flights. Air Manas will be the first airline to introduce this new aircraft type in Central Asia and countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. Despite the crisis throughout the world caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Air Manas continues the project of acquiring and commissioning new aircraft in Kyrgyzstan. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Transport, Architecture, Construction and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Gulmira Abdraliyeva, representatives of aviation enterprises, head of the Civil Aviation Agency of Kyrgyzstan, heads of Kyrgyzaeronavigatsia State Enterprise and Manas International Airport OJSC and others. "All these efforts, first of all, are one of the steps to withdraw from the EU Black List. I express my appreciation to the management and representatives of Air Manas for their commitment to renovation of the fleet, ensuring safe and comfortable flights for passengers. I wish the airline and all air carriers of the republic great success in their work", Minister Abdraliyeva said.
