More than 1000 yurts to be installed on Kyrchyn gorge within framework of Nomad Games

More than 1000 yurts will be installed on Kyrgyzstan gorge in Issyk-Kul region, where the cultural program of the Third World Nomad Games presented, honored cultural figure of Kyrgyzstan director Zarylbek Moldobakirov , who is responsible for the organization of cultural programs told. He said that each region of the country plans to install from 11 to 13 yurts. In addition to the oblasts, two large cities - Bishkek and Osh - will also erect yurts. Moldobakirov added that public associations and organizations are showing great interest in the nomad games and they will take part in various competitions held within the framework of the cultural program of the Games. "A number of public associations also will install 18-20 yurts each. In total, we expect that more than 1000 yurts will be installed," Moldobakirov said. Moldobakirov also added that contests related to the national Kyrgyz yurt will be held on the territory of Kyrchyn ethnic village. "We intend to organize various competitions, including a contest for the best decoration of a yurt with observance of centuries-old traditions," he concluded.
