Maripov meets with Belarus PM Golovchenko

Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2021 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov met with his Belarus counterpart Roman Golovchenko as part of a working trip to Almaty to participate in a regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the government’s press service reported. During the meeting, the heads of government discussed the current state of Kyrgyz-Belarusian cooperation in various fields and expressed interest in building up the existing economic potential of the two countries. Belarus Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko congratulated Ulukbek Maripov on his appointment as prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished him success in his work for the benefit of the people. Following the meeting, the heads of government agreed to hold the X meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Belarusian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation and a Business Forum in Bishkek in the near future.
