Large-scale theatrical show of Kyrgyz Great Power to be played at III WNG

Bishkek, Aug. 1, 2018. / Kabar /. The cultural program of the Third World Nomad Games (WNG) will be presented at the Kyrchyn ethno-village from 3 to 6 September, the Secretariat of the WNG reported. The audience will see the theatrical performance "Golden Age of nomads" and other events, including traditional national songs and dances; productions, telling about national traditions and customs; games from the life of nomads; fair of folk art and crafts; demonstration and tasting of national dishes; showing clothes of nomadic peoples; acquaintance with the fine arts (painting, drawing, sculpture), reflecting the identity of nomadic peoples. In addition, the eposes of the peoples of the world will be represented in the ethnographic city, competitions for quick installation and beautiful decoration of the Kyrgyz yurt are organized. Those who come to Kyrchyn e gorge will see the scenes of medieval battles and stunts on horseback. Executive director of the cultural program presented in Kyrchyn ethnovillage Talant Apyev told that a large-scale theatrical production with the participation of more than 1,000 people - "The Golden Age of nomads" will be shown. He said that "The Golden Age of nomads" will tell about the history of Kyrgyz people in the 9th and 10th centuries of our era. "This is the peak of the heyday of the Kyrgyz Great Power, whose borders stretched from the north, from Siberia to the south - to Tibet, from the west - from the Southern Urals to the east - the Amur River. In the program "Golden Age of nomads" we reconstruct - the way of life, culture, traditions of our people, the reception ceremony, military campaigns and attacks of that time. More than 1 thousand 200 people were involved in the full reconstruction of the life of those times. Some of them are stuntmen and about 100 actors. They will perform the main roles, the rest are participants in the mass scenes," added Talant Apyev.
