Kyrgyzstan's Culture Days to be held in Uzbekistan this year

Bishkek, March 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . In 2021, Uzbekistan will host the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism Kairat Imanaliyev told Kabar News Agency referring to the results of the 9th Meeting of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Intergovernmental Council held on March 25-26 in Tashkent.
"During a state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Uzbekistan on March 11, an agreement was signed with the Uzbek Culture Ministry on the plans in the field of culture for 2021-2023. We also signed a memorandum on sports and youth policy. This time we discussed the implementation of this plan. We have agreed with Uzbek minister of culture to hold the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan in September," he said.
Imanaliyev added that in September a big event is planned in Uzbekistan in the framework of the Culture Days. Namely, a trip with a big program is planned to the the neighboring country, as well as a tour of the big theater.
In addition, the Kyrgyz minister noted that a joint concerts dedicated to the 30th anniversary will be held in Bishkek and Tashkent .
"We will also hold Cinema Days this year," he added.
Kairat Imanaliyev noted the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan are planned for 2022.
