Kyrgyzstanis arrive to homeland from Moscow, medics among them

Bishkek, July 13, 2020. /Kabar/. Plane of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines on the Moscow - Bishkek route with 426 Kyrgyz citizens on board landed Sunday in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
"This flight was performed as part of implementation of agreements, reached by the Kyrgyz, Russian Foreign Ministries in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world,” the report says.
In view of the large number of people wishing to return to their homeland, the passenger lists for these flights were compiled by a Commission, consisting of representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora, doctors from Kyrgyz medical clinics in Moscow and representatives of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia.
In particular, students studying at Russian universities, women who are late in pregnancy and have young children, as well as citizens who have serious illnesses and previously left for the Russian Federation for surgical operations and other urgent medical procedures, valid reasons for return, associated with the death of close relatives were returned to the homeland.
This flight also brought 45 medical practitioners and medical staff from among Kyrgyzstanis in Russia, who selflessly volunteered to join the work of Kyrgyz doctors to treat patients with coronavirus infection and community - acquired pneumonia.
The work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens who are in foreign countries and wish to return to their homeland continues.
