Kyrgyzstan to temporarily close two checkpoints on Kyrgyz-Chinese border

Bishkek, April 28, 2021. / Kabar /. On the initiative of the Chinese side, the Torugart-Avtodorozhnyi and Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhnyi checkpoints in the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed due to celebration of Labour Day. The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Border Service said the checkpoints will be closed on May 1-4 inclusive for the movement of goods. The Torugart-Avtodorozhnyi and Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhnyi checkpoints will resume operation on May 5 in accordance with the Temporary Action Algorithm when moving goods from China to Kyrgyzstan.
