Kyrgyzstan takes part in XIV meeting of Council of heads of CIS Supreme Courts

Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2020 / Kabar/. Chairwoman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulbara Kaliyeva took part on Nov. 25, 2020 in the XIV meeting of the Council of Chairmen of the Supreme Arbitration, Economic, Economic and Other Courts that resolve disputes in the sphere of the economy of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The press service of the Kyrgyz Supreme Court said that the meeting, which was held via videoconferencing was also attended by Judge of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic Dilfuza Boronbaeva and Head of the CIS Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhyldyz Kozhobekova. Opening the meeting, First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Viktor Guminsky made a report on the activities of the Council of Chairmen. The participants approved the draft Agreement on the establishment of the Council of Heads of the Supreme Courts of the CIS member states and discussed the issue of chairmanship in this Council. Gulbara Kaliyeva noted that within the framework of this Council, cooperation and good relations between the countries will give positive dynamics in relations. She also expressed interest in strengthening interactions. In the current period, the members of the Council are: Chairwomen of the Supreme Courts of Kyrgyzstan - Gulbara Kaliyeva, of Belarus - Valentin Sukalo, Kazakhstan - Zhakip Asanov, Russia - Vyacheslav Lebedev, as well as Chairman of the Court of Cassation of Armenia Yervand Khundkaryan and Chairwoman of the Supreme Economic Court of Tajikistan Mavluda Kalandarzoda.
